Police add S.E. patrols after man approaches girls

Calgary police have added extra patrols to a southeast neighbourhood after two incidents last Friday.

Calgary police have added extra patrols to a southeast neighbourhood after two incidents last Friday.

A man approached two teenage girls in Auburn Bay in what police said was a suspicious manner.

In both cases the man asked for directions and then asked the girl to get in his vehicle.

Both teens declined and the man then drove away both times.

The man is described as Caucasian, about 50-years-old with short brown or grey hair.

He was driving an older model white SUV or van with tinted windows, police said.
